Wow! Where did 9 months go?

So, last week Carter turned 9 months old. Aaron & I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. We decided that we better get a family picture and some individual pictures of Carter taken before he changed some more. He is such a busy little boy.

He is learning to scoot around, although he is still trying to master the crawl, but that is okay with Mom & Dad, since we have been trying to baby proof everything that is within his reach. He has a Johnny Jump Up that he loves to bounce around in. For those of you who have held Carter, you know how much he loves to jump.

Lately, Carter has been put in charge of taking care of his Dad. At the beginning of April, Aaron decided to sell his truck and we found a Chevy Tahoe that we really liked. We enjoyed it for 3 days, until Aaron was t-boned in it and the Tahoe was totaled. We now have a new Tahoe, that has less miles than the first one had and a different color that we have liked better as well. However, due to the accident, Aaron has not been able to return to work due to pain in his back, neck, and shoulder. Since the accident Aaron has spent most of his time going to Dr. appointments, physical therapy, and the chiropractor. His neck and back are feeling much better now, but his shoulder is in need of some repair, so he will be having surgery this coming Monday, and then it is back to physical therapy. Needless to say, the past several months haven't been what we were looking forward to, but it has been nice to have Aaron around more and Carter has fallen even more in love with his Daddy. He lights up whenever Aaron walks into the room.

As for Mom, I am enjoying every moment I have with Carter. I have always heard others talk about how much joy these little children bring into your life, and always wondered if I would ever know that JOY! I am so grateful to have Carter in my life...he truly is a JOY to be around and makes our home a happier place to be everyday.

Thanks Carter for being such a blessing in our life!!!!

We love you!

Such cute pictures. Carter is one adorable kid. I can't believe I haven't met him yet. We all need to get together this summer.

I hope all goes well with Aaron's surgery.
