Happy Birthday to Alicia

Thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate my Birthday! I had a wonderful day full of texts, voicemails, phone calls and visits. I was able to go to lunch with Jodi, Shelley and Raschell at Rumbi. (I love their Hula Salad!)

My boss was out of town so I needed to work and cover the office but he sent me flowers to make up for it. (The small arrangement)



At the beginning of the month we celebrated birthdays with Aaron's family and since I am not very good at giving them a list of what I want they guessed. They did very well by going with the patriotic theme to match the decorations in my basement.




I was also able to get some new shoes with good arch support to help my knees feel better. Thank you to Grandma's and Mom for contributing! My feet and knees are already feeling better.

To top off the day Aaron made reservations to eat at Buca di Beppo. We had never eaten there before so I was glad to try something new. We will definitely be going back. It was a winner! Afterwards we wandered around the Gateway before going to a movie that Aaron had also arranged. I was hoping to go to the opening night of Mamma Mia and that is exactly what we did. It was fantastic! I don't think I have laughed so hard in such a long time. We had already seen the Broadway production of Mamma Mia so we were familiar with the story and Hollywood didn't disappoint us. If you are into musicals and lots of singing during a movie I think you will like it.
